About Us

G. Elliott

I have always had a great love for the outdoors and have admired the sport of hunting. It wasn’t until 2008 I had a great opportunity to begin hunting.  Since then I have been addicted to shooting my bow and yearning to be outside with nature. When time allows, I photograph nature and when the opportunity rises I am off to bow hunt. I chose bow hunting as my choice of hunting because it allows me the opportunity to be up close and personal with animals and then the challenge as well. With that came a need to give back and help others who are interested in getting into bow hunting. You are never to old for this sport.  So, I began a website GarysFotos.com and has since grown and become www.GarysBowhunting.com. My goal for my website is to be a hub for bow hunting resources. Weather it be articles, links or product reviews. With the product reviews it has gotten so crazy that I have asked 3 others with many years of experience and expertise to join me. Below you will meet them and they help review the many products that we receive. I also have been blessed with the opportunity to become part of the monthly contributor writers for www.Bowhunting.net and now have started doing gear reviews for them as well. I have enjoyed writing for Rich Walton and Bowhunting.net. I also facilitate wwwFacebook.com/GarysBowhunting as well.

My name is Frank Anthonis from West Bloomfield Michigan.  I have been a teacher in Rochester Community Schools for over 11 years. My hobbies are hunting, fishing, anything outdoors and Martial Arts.  Growing up in the country I was taught traditional family values and hunting was simply a way for me to spend more time with his father.  I continue that tradition spending my Fall in Michigan splitting my time between duck hunting and Bow hunting.  I recently started spring bow turkey hunting.  The photo attached is my first and only turkey with a bow.  I honed my bow hunting skills from a group of dedicated friends who are passionate bow hunters and conservationists. The trophy buck has eluded so far but I am confident I will have my chance in the near future.  I spent several weeks in Alaska on a self guided rafting trip.  My dream would be a return to Alaskan and pursue a moose hunt with my bow and an ocean duck hunt.
